How to make a water turbine.

We are learning about Hydro power.
Hydro power is water that has fallen into a dam and has been turned into energy.

We made a water turbine.

Materials

2 paper plates
Empty egg carton
Stapler and tape
Pencil
Scissors

Method

First We poked a hole in the middle of both plates with the pencil.

Then we cut the egg cartons out we placed them on one of the paper plates then we put tape on them so they can stay on.

Mean while we stapled the to plates together like a sandwich.

After that we put the pencil in the middle of the holes.

Finally we went to test them ours  went really fast.
