WALT describe the mission of the church.
I know I can do  this when:
I can talk about the mission of Jesus when he was on earth.
I can talk about the mission of the church today.
I can give examples of the mission of Jesus and the church.

We are learning the skills of rugby league

Today the coach taught us how to goose step which is is a skip.

Score a try which is when you need to have two hand on the ball and you can't drop the ball.

Spin which is a backwards spin.

A side step which is when you are close to someone then you side step away.

The amazing Duffy assembly.

In room 7 there was a Duffy assembly all the classes were there we went there for an assembly Joshua and Kory were the people that did the assembly.


There was a story about Kory and Joshua's granddad Sua who lived in Samoa but one day his sister was crying and she pointed at the man!!  Sua  searched for  ages and ages but one day he came across the man !! Then Sua grabbed a sword and got closer to the man !! When he got there he swiped the man on the legs and realized that he had broken the mans legs. He then hoped on a plane and traveled to a cold place in New Zealand  every day  he woke up and read the bible ate breakfast and went to work every day for two years then he became a good man. Joshua and Kory said he is their granddad. 

Then Joshua said the Brown Brother speech for us. The speech is a about no matter who you are our what colour  you are you can achieve anything you want to achieve  if you try your best and never give up.

Our cool estimating.

WALT estimate and measure in centimeters and meters.

Estimate means take a guess. When we estimate we use the information  we already know then try to guess an answer a close as possible to the correct measurement.

After we estimate we need to measure to check see if our estimation is correct.

To learn this we flew our planes.

My estimation was 17 m and  cm.

My plane actually flew 4 m and 40 cm

My estimation was wrong.

I estimated that my plane will fly 17 meters and 45 cent a meters.

On saturday my family and I went to my aunts. We went to play and have fun. We had a family day.

First we had some savouries and donuts.They were yummy.The donuts smelt nice, they smelt sweet.They were really nice I enjoyed them a lot they just hit the spot.They are yummy.

Next we made play dough the play dough felt and smelt nice. We had fun playing with the playdough we played bakery. I made a lot of money ha ha! I made a lot of cool stuff you would find in a bakery. I enjoyed myself, then I had to go home.

When I got home I drew a picture.Then I coloured the picture in the picture colourful.The house was very quiet for a little while.Then I watched tv the programme was funny.Then after a long and busy day I went to bed.

I felt happy and joyful  because I had a lot of fun.

 matirials 

Paper 

Pencil

Ruler 

Glue 

Sizzors

First fold the paper in half.

Then cut down the middle of the paper.

After that take one half and fold it again.

Then with a ruler draw two small lines from the fold.

Mean while cut out the two small lines and then pop it up so it looks like a chair.

After that draw and cut out your shape make some tabs on it .

Fianlly glue the two tabs then stick them on the little chair then you have a pop up card.

In October I went to church with my family for my aunt and uncle’s wedding .

First we went to the church where they got married. They talked for ages and ages. The bride had a very long dress it was pure white. It smelt like roses and lilies. It was hot because the heaters were on.

Then we went to a fancy hotelit was very fancy. It had pretty paintings. We had yummy food. We had cake and lollies I  liked the lollies ,some lollies were sower. The room smelt like perfume because the bride had some on.

Then we had a disco party. It looked cool with all the lights going. It smelt like food because there was food in the room.The music was loud. It looked busy because of the wedding party.

I felt lively and joyful because I had song very fun to do.

How to make a water turbine.

We are learning about Hydro power.
Hydro power is water that has fallen into a dam and has been turned into energy.

We made a water turbine.

Materials

2 paper plates
Empty egg carton
Stapler and tape
Pencil
Scissors

Method

First We poked a hole in the middle of both plates with the pencil.

Then we cut the egg cartons out we placed them on one of the paper plates then we put tape on them so they can stay on.

Mean while we stapled the to plates together like a sandwich.

After that we put the pencil in the middle of the holes.

Finally we went to test them ours  went really fast.

Jesus

When Jesus said blessed are those that have not seen but believe it means the people that have not  seen Jesus but still believe in Him will have a good life in heaven with God.

How To Turn Your Teacher Into A toad

How to turn our teacher into a shiny but smelly toad.

Method

1.Firstly quickly put the cauldron on  then chop the wart
t into little squares.

2. Next put on your gloves take the human heart  and the knife poke a hole in it then  squeeze the blood out slowly.

3.Then chop it into squares put it into the cauldron and stir the blood ,wart and  human heart.

4.Grate the dragon scales and then melt it in the cauldron.

5.After that let it sit on low for two hours.

6.Next weigh the eyeballs then get the grater and grate the eyeballs and then put them into the cauldron.

7.Then turn the cauldron to 80 degrees.

8.After that weigh the ear wacks put it in the cauldron.

9.Next  take the wooden spoon and stir.

10.lastly put it in the potion bottle take the wand boom abracadabra ahh!!! Your teacher is a toad.

On sunday my Grandma came over .We went to the shop .We celebrated Mother's Day . It is a day for mums to rest.

When my Grandma came she had a look around my new house. Then  she had a cup of tea and a biscuit. Then we went to the shop then we took my Grandma home.

Then my mum took me to the park it was really fun.Then my dad got home from work.We had our tea. I had my shower then I got into my pjs. My dad and I game of mancala. Then I went into my room and played shops.

I had a  Mothers Day and so did my mum.I went to bed for school the next day.
